In the unfortunate event that you have received an item you believe to be faulty please check the following before returning your goods.
Different products come with different warranty periods.
Here we will list the typical length of warranty periods, what is covered by this warranty and what isn’t and the procedure to follow.
Warranty dates start from the date of receiving your order.
Scooter Parts
Each part of a stunt scooter has a warranty period all of its own. As each part is interchangeable so please check below to find out how long the parts are covered for.
Scooter Decks - Typically covered for 6 months against snapping/cracking of the deck or welds. Not covered - Damage caused by misuse or abuse. Scratches or fading to the finish. Grinding on rough surfaces is NEVER covered.
Chromoly Bars - Typically covered for 90 days against bending or breaking.
Not covered - bars that have been modified in any way (cutting down, cutting a slit in or off) Scratches or chipping to the finish. Any bars that have visible signs of impact from landing incorrectly or being thrown.
Titanium Bars - Typically covered for 30 days against bending or breaking.
Not covered - bars that have been modified in any way (cutting down, cutting a slit in or off) Scratches or chipping to the finish. Any bars that have visible signs of impact from landing incorrectly or being thrown.
Aluminium Bars - Typically covered for 30 days against cracks in the welds and defects in the finish.
Not covered - bars that have been modified in any way (cutting down, cutting a slit in or off) Scratches or chipping to the finish. Any bars that have visible signs of impact from landing incorrectly or being thrown.
Aluminium Bars are designed and manufactured using lightweight materials for riders who want the lightest setup possible and know how to ride smoothly. Impacts from dropping and losing control of the scooter will cause damage to the bars and this will not be covered under warranty.
Forks - Typically covered for 90 days against bending or breaking.
Not covered - Stripped or bent axles, forks that have been modified in any way.
Clamps - Typically covered for 90 days against breaking of the body of the clamp.
Not covered - stripped or cross-threaded bolts. Stripped bolt heads caused by using the incorrect tools. Scratches or damage to the finish.
Wheels - Typically covered for 90 days against dehubbing - where the PU disengages from the hub.
Not covered - chunking - where pieces of the PU breaks away from the wheel from landing sideways or on rough surfaces. Flat spotting caused by braking too hard or skidding. Wheel bearings unless defective at the time of purchase.
NB: Nylon Core wheels are typically only covered for 30 days.
Wheel/Headset bearings/grips/brakes and grip tape are classed as consumable items and therefore are only covered if received in a defective state before use.
Skateboards
Skateboard decks - are covered for anything between 30 and 120 days depending on the supplier/manufacturer. This should be detailed in the manual. Covered by this warranty will be manufacturing defects such as Warped Plys or delamination.
Not Covered - Normal wear and tear or snapping of the deck - this will normally be caused by not landing a trick correctly rather than a defect in the material.
Skateboard Trucks - are covered for anything between 120 days and lifetime depending on the supplier/manufacturer. Again this should be included in the manual. Covered by this warranty are manufacturing defects.
Not covered - damage through improper use or normal wear and tear.
Skates
Whether you have Quads, Inlines or Ice Skates the warranty for these is more or less the same.
The skates will be covered for 3 - 6 months against manufacturing defects. Bearings, Stoppers, Liners are classed as a consumable item and therefore are only covered if received in a defective state before use.
The only skates that will have different warranty periods are Derby Skates. As these are generally harder wearing and generally customisable each part will have a different warranty period and will depend on the brand. See your manuals for exact warranty periods.
Protection
Helmets - The majority of helmets will be covered for 6 months against manufacturing defects. However, it is important to remember that if your helmet is single impact and you have an accident where the helmet impacts the floor, you MUST replace the helmet.
Pads - Knee/Elbow and Wristguards - These are generally covered for 90 days against manufacturing defects. Damage from general use will not be covered.
Shoes
Heelys - Typically covered for 90 days against defects in the material or workmanship.
Not covered - Misuse, abuse or alteration.
Vans/Nike - Typically covered for 6 months against defects in the material.
Not covered - Damage caused through skating/scootering.
Emerica/Etnies - Typically covered for 12 months against defects in the material.
Not covered - Damage through abuse/negligence/misuse normal wear and tear.
Skate Bags
- Typically covered for 3 - 6 months this does differ between brands. This warranty covers Faulty Zips, splitting at the seams, handles coming loose/off.
Not covered - damage caused through overfilling/general wear and tear.
Clothing
- Typically covered for 3 months against manufacturing defects
Not covered - Print/colour fading after washing.
Electrical
Most electrical items will be covered for a period of 12 Months this will cover the battery and any manufacturing defects. In most cases, we advise you to contact the manufacturer if you encounter any issues as they are the only ones qualified to inspect/repair the item.
Not covered - Misuse/abuse, general wear and tear, accidental damage from collisions or accidents whilst riding, any modifications to the item will void the warranty.
Bikes
Most bikes will come with a 1-year warranty. To activate this the bike must be built or checked over by a qualified bike mechanic. This warranty will cover unexpected failure/defect of all components/parts that aren’t attributed to normal wear and tear or crash damage.
Not covered - Any bike that has been modified in any way, buckled wheels, worn tyres, worn or broken chains etc.
GENERAL WARRANTY
If your product becomes faulty within the first 30 days, please contact our Customer Service Team and they will be more than happy to help you out.
If your product becomes faulty outside of 30 days but within the Manufacturer's warranty, please fill out our contact form (please include ‘WARRANTY / FAULT’ in subject line) and our dedicated Faults Team will get back to you.
Each case will be assessed individually and we will always do our best to help where we can.
NB: Where to find Batch Codes/Labels/Serial Numbers
SFR Skates - Label on the box or the LQN code at the very bottom of the label on the tongue of the skates.
SFR Helmet - Sticker on the inside of the helmet, or label on the box
MGP - Complete Scooters only; Label on the underside of the deck or in the rear wheel recess
REKD - Label on product
Frenzy - Sticker on bars near clamp or underside of the deck
Enuff - Under the trucks.
Rio Roller - Label on the tongue - need to see all of the label
Slamm - Sticker on bars or underside of the deck
Mafiabike - On the frame on the underside of the crank
